this is a microfine filter cone for selected miele dishwashers using the 4011464 / 04011464 style. it sits under the flat filter plate and catches fine food debris in the wash water. you receive one lower cone with a moulded frame, fine mesh and a yellow cleaning-flap latch, to connect to the retained handle.
replace a cracked cone, damaged mesh or missing filter. trapped food can contribute to gritty dishes or odours; an intact dirty filter may only need cleaning. the existing handle and plate need to be undamaged for reuse.

The cone is separate from the handle and plate
This is the lower cone-style microfine filter only. The handle and flat filter plate shown for context are not included. Reuse those parts only if they are undamaged. Compare the cone and its connection before ordering.
Opening the flap is not removing the cone
The yellow latch opens the cleaning flap; replacing the cone involves its separate handle connection. For versions covered by Miele's G600/G800 technical manual, section 5.23, replacement involves removing the old snap joint, aligning the new cone and pressing it onto the handle. This is not a universal method for every listed model. Switch the dishwasher off and let it cool, then follow the service instructions for your exact model. Do not force brittle plastic; a technician can help if the connection is unclear. Refit the filter combination flat and securely locked before use.
