how to make sure it fits?

find your dryer model number
open the dryer door and check the inside edge for the label. copy the full model and PNC/product number with suffixes and revision digits. the drawing shows an electrolux EDE605 example, not every simpson dryer; positions vary.
check your model and cover
check that both your full model and pnc (product number code) are listed for this part before ordering. match any stated fitting conditions too. compare the locating and fixing points of the old cover with this 110 x 30 x 10 mm cover. the electrical switch and door latch are separate parts.
not sure? ask us
if either number isn't listed or you're unsure, send the whole label and old-cover photos. if you cannot find the label, send a dryer photo or the manual.

description

this is a door switch cover for selected simpson vented dryers. the moulded plastic piece covers the door-switch area, where its locating features help the door operate the switch. you receive one genuine white 8581333761014 cover, measuring 110 x 30 x 10 mm.

replace a cracked or missing cover, or one with a broken operating section or mounting tab. replacement may restore door-switch operation when the broken plastic is the cause.

fitting notes

Check the cover, not just the switch

A cracked cover or broken moulded mounting point is different from a faulty electrical switch or door latch. Compare the cover itself with the photos before ordering.

Fitting notes are provided for general guidance only. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation. Always do your own checks and take these notes with a grain of salt.
