Before replacing: On ESE6107 and ETE4200SC-family fridges with the matching electronic display, flashing freezer temperature and beeping warn that the freezer is too warm. Check for an open door or warm food near the sensor. The warning can stay on after the sound is muted, until the freezer cools. On those displays, the fridge-door warning starts after about two minutes open. A drinks-chill beep means the timer has finished, not that the control board has failed. Other listed fridges have different controls. Check the alarm meaning in your model's manual.
Might fix: This lower control board can help when a board fault is causing cooling or temperature-control trouble. Beeping, a warm fridge or a blank display do not identify the failed part; the temperature sensors and display electronics are separate parts. If the cause is unclear, a technician can help diagnose it.

Bought item to fix error codes and temperature control not working in Westinghouse fridge which was 12 years old. Following a video on YouTube, was able to replace broken controller board with new board in less than 30 minutes. It turned out the capacitors had leaked and failed in the original board.
