Westinghouse control board replacement
This replacement is used on selected Westinghouse fridge models. The photo shows an old WSE6100WF board; fitting the replacement got the fridge running again. Check your full model code in the compatibility checker or model list. If you can't find it, send us a photo of the fridge's model label.
error codes
Before replacing: On WSE6100 fridges with the electronic display described in the original manual, flashing freezer temperature and beeping mean the freezer is too warm. Check the door is shut. Warm food near the sensor can also trigger it. Silencing the alarm does not mean the freezer has cooled. On that display, flashing fridge temperature and beeping after about two minutes warn that the fridge door is open. The drinks-chill beep is a timer reminder, not a fault code. Other listed fridges have different controls. Check the alarm meaning in your model's manual.
Might fix: Replacing a failed lower control board can restore cooling and temperature control. An alarm alone does not identify a board fault; the temperature sensors and display are separate parts. If the cause is unclear, a technician can help diagnose it.

Bought item to fix error codes and temperature control not working in Westinghouse fridge which was 12 years old. Following a video on YouTube, was able to replace broken controller board with new board in less than 30 minutes. It turned out the capacitors had leaked and failed in the original board. I now have a 100% working fridge again. Well worth replacing the controller board instead of buying a new fridge. Will definitely buy again if needed.
