how to make sure it fits?
description
this is a two-pack of foam plinth filters for selected miele heat-pump dryers. the foam catches lint before it reaches the heat exchanger. you receive two washable filters, approximately 205 x 153 x 30 mm each, to fit individually in the existing handle and holder. keep a spare while the other dries after cleaning.
replace torn, distorted or persistently blocked foam after cleaning. restricted airflow can lengthen drying times; on applicable miele models, F66 / F 066 can indicate an airflow restriction.

Use one filter and keep a spare
Fit one foam filter at a time. Reuse the matching handle and holder, and compare the shape and holes before fitting. Switch off and unplug the dryer, then follow the filter-access instructions for your model.
Cleaning and checking the foam
Follow the cleaning prompt and care instructions for your dryer. Rinse the foam gently, squeeze out water carefully and allow it to dry as instructed. Do not refit a dripping-wet filter. Replace foam that is torn, distorted, does not sit snugly or remains blocked after the recommended cleaning.

F66 / F 066: Miele identifies restricted airflow, including clogged fluff or plinth filters, in the referenced dryer instructions. Clean the filters as instructed and inspect the foam for damage or poor fit. A wet filter or blockage elsewhere can also cause the warning. Replace the foam when its condition calls for it; the code alone does not identify a failed filter. If the warning returns, follow the troubleshooting instructions for your model or seek service advice.
