when to get help

  • do not continue if access is unsafe or supports are damaged. a fault code or poor operation after cleaning needs service advice. filter cleaning does not repair U0, U4 or A5, and does not establish what caused a fault.

steps

  1. stop and isolate power

follow the FTKZ manual's power-isolation instructions and use stable access. open the filter-cleaning front panel, lift its support plate and secure the plate behind the fixing tab as illustrated. do not open service covers or proceed if the support is insecure.

  2. remove and clean the main filters

on FTKZ09VV2S and FTKZ12VV2S, push the centre tab of each main air filter slightly upwards, then pull the filter down. vacuum dust or wash the main mesh filter with water as instructed, then let it dry in the shade. do not apply this release or washing method to the small treatment filters or the separate Cora video family.

  3. refit the filters and close the panel

put the dry main filters back securely under their tabs. close the panel slowly and press both sides and the centre, checking that it is fixed. check small treatment-filter labels separately: some types must not be washed.
