how to clean a ninth-series DD60 DishDrawer's filters and spray arm
for the nine ninth-series DD60 models in this guide's scope, clean blocked filters and spray holes before assuming a wash-system fault. remove loading obstructions and securely refit the parts with the arm free to turn.
these models use the contemporary arrow-aligned filter arrangement, not the older 605 plate-release method.

tools and materials
- damp cloth
when to get help
- do not run the drawer with missing or loose filters. arrange service if cleaning and reloading do not help.
steps
- switch off, cool and clear the rack
finish or cancel the wash, switch power off safely and let the drawer cool. remove dishes and anything protruding through the rack.
- rinse and lock the drain filter
on the nine listed models, twist the drain filter anticlockwise and lift it out. turn its cap until the arrows align, separate the pieces and clean with hot water, then rinse thoroughly. refit the drain filter into its holder and twist until their arrows align. then push the assembled drain filter into the tub and rotate it clockwise until the arrows align again. these are two separate locking stages.
- clear the spray arm
gently lift the rack from its top-right corner as shown in the care guide, then lift the arm off its base. shake out loose food, rinse the holes and wipe with a damp cloth until water passes through them. check the base for obstructions.
- refit and check the moving parts
place the arm back on its base and restore the rack. confirm that the arm turns freely and every filter part is securely fitted before loading dishes. do not run with missing or loose filters.
