how to replace a damaged DishDrawer filter plate
an intact plate that is dirty or badly seated may need cleaning and refitting rather than replacement. replace a cracked, warped or missing 524467 plate when it can no longer sit correctly.
this is one broad perforated type 16 plate with the 608 overmoulded design, not the central drain filter or motor locking ring.

scope: follow the exact drawer's care guide: the listed DD60 example lifts out after the drain filter is removed, but this is not a universal disassembly method. refit the filters and spray arm securely; one plate serves one drawer.
steps
- disconnect and cool
disconnect power and let the drawer cool. check whether the plate is damaged, dirty or sitting incorrectly. check the exact model and plate design on the product page.
- reach the plate
follow the care instructions to remove only the rack and filter parts needed for access. keep the small drain filter and other fastening parts separate from the broad plate.
- fit the new plate
handle the edge carefully and clear loose debris. seat the plate flat and secure it using the model's fastening arrangement.
- refit the other parts
refit the drain filter, spray arm and rack as instructed. check that the arm turns freely and the plate stays seated. don't run the drawer with loose or missing filter parts.
