what should i check when my NEFF dishwasher shows E24?

E24 on the covered NEFF dishwashers concerns a drainage problem. an obstructed or kinked outlet hose, restricted drain connection or dirty filter can be involved.

model scope: NEFF dishwashers displaying E24.

stop the dishwasher, isolate power from a dry accessible point, close the water tap and let the tub cool before care. inspect only an outlet hose already visible for kinks; do not move the connected dishwasher, disconnect a hose for a live drain test or dismantle the drain connection.

for S52M53X6EU/55, the manual's filter care is to release the cylinder as illustrated, lift out the filter system, remove residue and rinse the filters under running water. reassemble in reverse order and close with the arrow marks opposite each other. other models need their own release and locking instructions. do not force a filter or reach into hidden pump openings; stop for sharp debris or parts that will not lock.

the linked outlet-hose guide is only for a repairer-confirmed damaged hose that matches the appliance. it does not clear a blocked drain or clean filters. E24 alone does not select a 230 cm hose; both hose ends and its route still need matching.

if the dishwasher will not empty after permitted care, arrange service. for leakage, stop use and isolate water and power safely. use the instructions for E24 on your exact NEFF model; E25 and other brands can need different checks.
