how to replace a front dryer lint-filter assembly
a lint-filled but intact filter may only need cleaning. replace one with torn mesh, a cracked frame or hinge, a failed latch, or a missing assembly.
H0180200033-style supply is one complete hinged front filter, not a condenser foam pad. capacity or appearance alone does not identify fit.

scope: unplug and cool before using normal filter-care access. compare the full product revision and seating shape; never force the frame, push tools into the air path or run without the filter.
steps
- remove the old filter
unplug the dryer and let it cool. use the manual's normal filter-cleaning access to remove the front filter. check its mesh, hinge and closing latch.
- check and clear the space
check the full dryer model and product revision on the product page, then compare the old filter's shape and seating. remove loose lint from the permitted seating area. do not push tools into the air path.
- fit the new filter
close the hinged filter and seat it fully without forcing the frame. never run the dryer without its filter. stop and request help if it will not close or seat, blocks the door or a warning remains after proper care.
