how to change a complete OneUp mop pad assembly
the linked two-pack for listed Philips OneUp 3000/5000 mops contains two complete blue mounting plates, each with fitted washable microfibre. each plate has a centre cross mount, four clips and oval openings; it is not just loose cloth.
the release and refit method below is the Philips example for XV3101/01 and XV5113/01. use it only with that same external attachment arrangement. an R1 suffix or a different supplied plate does not by itself establish that its release is identical.

- owner care

- easy
- hands-on time
- ~ 2 min
scope: switch off and disconnect charging before the normal owner-accessible release. do not dismantle the powered head or peel off the fitted cloth. follow this supplied pad's care instructions, which may differ from original-pad washing limits.
steps
- switch off and compare the plate
switch off and disconnect charging. check the complete model in the compatibility checker and compare the whole plastic plate, centre mount, four clips and connectors with the original. if the arrangement differs, get the supplied assembly's instructions before releasing anything.
- release the complete assembly
for the XV3101/01 or XV5113/01 arrangement shown in Philips' guide, keep both sides of the pad on the floor with your feet and lift the appliance off the pad. do not pry the four clips one by one, dismantle the powered head or peel the fitted cloth from its plate. stop if the complete assembly does not release normally.
- follow this supplied pad's care limits
use the replacement pad's own care directions and the appliance's mopping instructions. the original Philips pad's wash temperatures are not evidence for this supplied pad. let the pad dry before storage; a damaged assembly or one that remains dirty after permitted care may need replacing.
- attach at the matching plastic connectors
for the same documented arrangement, place the complete pad assembly flat on the floor and align the nozzle with the plate's plastic connectors. press the nozzle firmly onto them and check the whole plate is evenly retained before mopping. do not force mismatched clips. continued streaks need the instructed floor-care, solution or liquid-delivery checks; this is not a pump repair.
