why is my oven shelf missing, bent or sitting unevenly?
an uneven shelf or tilting tray can come from a bent rack or damaged or mismatched side supports. check the cold oven before placing cookware on it.
with the oven off and fully cool, inspect visible supports and remove cookware. do not bend supports to make a shelf fit or load a rack that rocks or catches.
the linked guide concerns the 00574876-style wire shelf, approximately 465 x 375 mm, for matching hook-in side frames and selected original pull-out systems. it does not include side frames. the similar-sized 00574874 / HEZ334001 uses a different ribbed-cavity arrangement, so width alone is insufficient. match the full model and support system. a correctly selected empty shelf must sit at the same height on both sides and slide securely before use.
first checks
- check the unloaded cold supports
look for bends, looseness or mismatched support levels without altering the frame.
