how to replace a wire oven shelf on hook-in side frames
replace a bent or missing wire shelf only when its supports are sound. the 00574876-style shelf is about 465 x 375 mm, with stepped corners, for hook-in side frames and selected original pull-out systems.
it is not the similar-sized 00574874 / HEZ334001 rack for a ribbed cavity. side frames are not included.

scope: work with the oven off and fully cool. use level matching supports and the manual's shelf orientation; never bend supports to make the rack fit.
steps
- check the cold oven
with the oven off and fully cool, check for a bent shelf or loose or damaged side supports. check the full model in the compatibility checker and compare the support style, not just the width. stop if the supports are damaged.
- swap the shelf
remove cookware and take out the old shelf normally. place the new shelf on supports at the same height on both sides, facing the way shown in the manual. do not bend the supports to make it fit.
- check before loading
gently move the empty shelf in and out. it must sit level and securely without rocking or catching before you put cookware on it.
