how to replace a dry-cleaning dual-roller vacuum head
check for accessible loose debris before replacing a damaged motorised head. the linked aftermarket head has two opposing soft conical rollers, a swivel neck, removable clear cover and a green led dust light.
it is not a wet-cleaning roller, hard plastic brushbar or genuine laser-sensing head.

scope: match the full listed Dyson model and powered connector. V15s Detect Submarine use is dry only. switch off and disconnect charging before handling; do not immerse the head or use damaged contacts.
steps
- switch off
switch off and disconnect charging before checking the head. do not use it with damaged housing or contacts.
- check the fit and rollers
check the complete model in the compatibility checker and compare the powered plug, red release catch and contacts. disconnect the head before removing loose debris as the manual allows. keep the connector dry and do not immerse the head.
- fit the new head
release the old head with its normal catch and attach the replacement. do not force or change the connector. check that it locks securely and steers normally.
- use on a dry floor
follow the floor maker's care advice and never use the head with water. if the rollers still do not turn or pickup remains poor, check for a fault elsewhere before buying another head.
