Nut-only repair and service access
This is the nut at the drive-shaft bearing assembly, not the agitator fastening bolt. Bearings, the seal and the shaft are separate parts. In the GWL15 US 96155-C example diagram, the bearing nut is item 8. Fisher & Paykel's Phase 7 service procedure uses a spline tool to hold the shaft and a spanner for the retaining nut. Bearing replacement also calls for a bearing tool. Follow your model's service procedure.
