description
this is a door seal for selected lg front-load washing machines and the WD12595FD6 washer-dryer. it seals between the tub and door opening. you receive one grey rubber seal replacing MDS66651605, with a small lower opening and a larger oval upper-left opening in its installed position.
replace a split, hardened or distorted seal when water leaks from the door. match this opening layout and use serviceable retaining clamps. fitment excludes WD14060D6, WD14070D6 and WD14130D6. WV5-1409W and WV5-1408W instructions require qualified service personnel and authorised factory parts.

Match the openings, not just the moulded number
A partial MDS666516 marking does not identify the exact seal version. Compare the full model label, the small lower opening, the larger oval upper-left opening and both retaining grooves. This is not the two-small-hose-openings-at-the-top version and is not suitable for WD14060D6, WD14070D6 or WD14130D6. If the openings differ or you are unsure, send photos of the whole old seal and each opening before ordering.

For LG WV5-1409W and WV5-1408W only: AE is the water-leakage indication. LG directs the owner to service. It does not identify the door seal as the cause.
