description
this is a drain pump motor for selected lg front-load washing machines and washer-dryers. it drives wastewater removal. one genuine askoll M231 XP / S3041 motor is supplied; the original lg plastic pump housing can be reused if it is clean and sound.
replace it when the motor is diagnosed as faulty and the machine holds water or drains slowly. OE is a no-drain or slow-drain code on matching lg washers. the motor has rear screw mounting and two spade terminals.

Drain codes: OE on matching LG washers is a no-drain or slow-drain code. This motor is a sensible repair when the old LG/Askoll drain pump motor has failed.
Before replacing: Clean the pump filter and check the drain hose and outlet. If the machine still holds water, have the fault diagnosed before ordering. A matching pump body alone does not show that the motor has failed.
