For Whirlpool WB10037, a different inlet valve was previously recommended. Do not order this valve by brand alone; send a clear photo of the whole appliance model label if yours is not in the compatible models list. This is the 220-240 V AC version, not a 110-120 V valve. Match the old valve's electrical label, hose connections and mounting layout before ordering.
error codes
On a Maytag LAT9806, no fill or water that is too hot or cold can be caused by closed taps, kinked hoses or blocked inlet screens. A lid-switch fault can also stop filling. These symptoms do not prove the inlet valve has failed; check the water supply and match the old valve before ordering.
