this is a four-pack of suspension straps for selected fisher & paykel aquasmart washing machines, replacing 420978P. the moulded neck-ring straps link the bowl's neck ring to the suspension-rod brackets to limit sideways movement. four white straps and a fitting manual are supplied.

Check repeated breakage before fitting another set
If new straps have broken again, check the neck-ring mounts, suspension rods and excessive bowl movement before fitting another set. Another fault can overload the straps, but a broken strap alone does not establish why it failed. Send photos of the failed straps and the model label so I can help with the next step.
Fit the four straps without twists
Compare both ends and the rod-top attachment points before starting. Replace all four straps as a set and make sure each end is seated without a twist. Follow the instructions for your exact machine and disconnect power and water before lifting the top.

Might fix: On AquaSmart LCD models WL70T60CW1, WL80T65CW1, WL70T60CW2 and WL80T65CW2, "My load is OUT OF BALANCE" means the wash load is out of balance. Damaged or detached neck-ring straps can contribute to excessive bowl movement, but the message alone does not identify a failed strap. Replacing straps helps only when damaged straps are contributing to the problem. Before replacing: Once the machine has stopped, redistribute the load and check that the washer stands level and stable. If the warning returns, disconnect power before inspecting the straps and surrounding suspension. This displayed wording applies to the listed LCD models; other versions use different indications.
