how to make sure it fits?

find your model number
on single dishdrawers, open the drawer and check inside the cabinet beneath it. on double models, check beneath the upper drawer. note the full model and product code, including any revision letter.
check your model and filter shape
check that both your full model and product code are listed for this part before ordering, including any revision letter. match any stated fitting conditions too. a match identifies this filter when any listed product code and fitting conditions also match. this filter has a kidney-shaped grey frame with fine metal mesh. compare it with your old filter: it needs the kidney-shaped recess, not a circular twist-lock arrangement.
not sure? ask us
if either number isn't listed or you're unsure, send us clear photos of the whole appliance label and, if possible, your old filter. we'll check our compatibility records before you order. if you cannot find the label, send an appliance photo or the manual.

fitting notes

Compare the same face of the filter

Turn the old filter to the same face and orientation as the product photo before comparing the curve, rim and mesh. A different viewing angle can make the kidney shape look reversed. If it still looks different, send the whole model label and clear photos of both faces of the old filter. Do not force a differently shaped filter into the drawer.

Clean first; replace when damaged

Food caught in an intact filter can usually be rinsed away. For DS605/DD605, the manufacturer shows access through the basket flap, lifting the drain filter out and replacing it flush with the filter plate. Switch the appliance off, let it cool and take care with sharp debris. Follow your model instructions if its access differs. Replace a cracked frame, damaged mesh or missing filter.

Fitting notes are provided for general guidance only. We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation. Always do your own checks and take these notes with a grain of salt.
