how to check jug seating on an Apuro CR836-A or DR825-A blender
on Apuro CR836-A and DR825-A blenders covered by the version 4 guide, check and reseat the jug and secure its lid and plug before treating a failure to start as a motor fault. unplug for handling and keep the base closed. the older and newer manuals disagree on hot liquids, so this guide does not approve hot-liquid blending.

when to get help
- stop for loose or damaged blades, leaks, a damaged lead or continued failure to start, and arrange service. do not open the base or bypass safety devices. do not blend hot liquids unless the instructions for your exact machine and jug explicitly allow it.
steps
- unplug and inspect
unplug the blender and wait for the blades to stop completely. check the jug and lid for obvious damage or leaks before handling the assembly.
- seat the jug squarely
keep the switch off. position the jug on the base and secure the lid and its plug as shown in the manual.
- check normal operation
reconnect only if the assembly is dry, undamaged and correctly seated. use the normal controls. for cleaning, unplug again and hand-clean the jug without soaking or dishwashing; dry it and keep water out of the base.
