how to replace a Roband grill's non-stick liner sheet

renew a worn grill liner after cleaning the cooled plates. the linked ten-packs contain 0.2 mm ptfe-coated sheets: 370 x 740 mm for the GSA610/RC6 arrangement, or 495 x 740 mm for GSA810/GSA815 with RC8.

the retainer clip is separate. a liner can reduce sticking and clean-down effort but does not replace normal cleaning.

scope: disconnect and cool completely. lay the sheet across the open upper and lower plates, not just the lower plate. keep below the supplied 260 C / 500 F maximum; do not cut food on the sheet.

steps

  1. disconnect and cool the grill

switch off, disconnect power and let both plates cool completely. check the sheet size and correct RC6 or RC8 retainer; do not swap sizes or clips.

  2. remove the worn sheet and clean the plates

remove the old sheet and clear grease and carbon build-up as the grill manual directs. avoid sharp scrapers and abrasive pads.

  3. position the matching sheet and clip

lay the sheet across the open upper and lower plates. for the documented Roband retainer, rest the clip against the lower part of the top plate and slide it upwards to engage its lower hook.

  4. secure the sheet

rotate the clip towards the plate and press it into its normal clipped position. do not force a mismatched clip. put the loose sheet end beneath the grease box and refit the box.

  5. check before heating

the sheet must lie flat and secure with the upper plate moving freely. observe the sheet's 260 C / 500 F maximum and any stricter grill limit. do not cut food on it; continue normal grease cleaning.
