why do plates keep tipping over in my DishDrawer?
plates can tip when an adjustable holder is set incorrectly, obstructed or damaged. check the spacing and visible prongs and clips before assuming a new insert is needed.
switch off, let the drawer cool and remove the dishes before inspecting it. the 523649 holder uses a front handle to move the tines closer for small plates or further apart for deeper bowls. a larger cutlery basket can obstruct it on DD60DCX7; forcing the insert past the basket is not a solution.
use the linked adjustable-insert guide when the holder itself is damaged or missing and the base rack remains sound. the supplied assembly includes fixed and moving tine sections and clips, not a complete base rack. check the exact drawer model, attachment shape and basket clearance before selecting it.
first checks
- check spacing and clearance
with the drawer cool and empty, inspect the holder, front slider and space beside the basket without forcing the assembly.
