why does my Bosch BSG7 bag warning turn yellow before the bag looks full?
on the BSG7....GB bagged family, fine material can restrict a partly filled bag, while a blocked nozzle, tube or hose can produce the same yellow warning. a visual estimate of bag fullness is not enough.
model scope: Bosch BSG7....GB bagged vacuum family.
the linked guide explains the documented assembled indicator check: maximum suction with the floor tool lifted, followed by switching off and unplugging before inspecting detached parts. do not run while examining openings or reach into motor areas.
if the removable air path is clear but the indicator was fully yellow, the specified bag may need changing despite looking partly empty. fit it correctly in its holder and never force the lid or run without a bag. persistent warnings or a lid that will not close need help. this is BSG7....GB guidance, not a bag equivalence for every australian Bosch vacuum or bagless model.
first checks
- use the correct indicator method
follow the linked BSG7 guide for the assembled reading, then switch off and unplug before checking the detachable air path.
