when to get help
- stop if the lid will not close with the correct bag seated, or the warning persists after safe blockage checks and a bag change.
steps
- read the indicator correctly
with the assembled vacuum running, select maximum suction and lift the floor tool clear of the floor. note whether the bag indicator is fully yellow, then switch off and unplug.
- check for a blockage first
inspect the detached nozzle, tube and hose. if they are clear but the indicator was fully yellow, fit the bag specified for your model even if the old one looks partly empty; fine dust can restrict it.
- seat the bag without forcing the lid
place the new bag correctly in its holder. the cover needs the bag fitted to close. do not force the cover or run without the bag.
